Aunt Lily's messy living room, kitchen and the lab scene's spilled liquid, look a little scary. Moss grew from bricks in the dungeon. In general, everything appeared scuffed and dirty.
2D illustration preparation included an eye for light direction, composition and consistency between
scenes. Some scenes were prepared for horizontal tracking, such
as Aunt Lily's Living Room
.
Left and right images for the room were digitally painted
separately, then combined for animation.
The San Zuchini Harbor
animation was composed from two separate scenes.
