Airbrushed Assembly
Airbrushed technical illustration highlights elements in a cutaway with metallic shine on the exterior and textured color for the interior.
Airbrush Art
Airbrush painting prepared with watercolor, gouache and ink. Airbrush with watercolor was applied using masks for metallic grays and colorful interior surfaces. Pastel green, blue and red airbrushing, plus stippling, visually separates interior surfaces. Highlights display with white gouache along threads. Ink includes two different thicknesses which indicate outline versus shadow.
Blueprints provide the basis for most technical illustrations. Artists translate two dimensional blueprints to three dimensional drawings, allowing viewers to more easily understand assemblies and components.
Traditional Paintings
Sometimes traditional media provides the look that captures attention more than any other. Traditional paintings created with oil paint, airbrush, gouache and watercolor uniquely express concepts. See a range of styles from nearly photorealistic art to soft airbrushed impressions and glossy technical illustration.
